A 27-year-old gambler, Kittisak Krusorn, was found dead on his front porch with a pool of blood trailing from his bedroom in Prachinburi province, Thailand.
Relatives of the deceased called the police as they heard a gunshot bang and Mr Krusorn crying for help shortly after he returned to his room.
According to local media reports, a young man has died after he accidentally shot himself in the testicles.
Lately homemade handgun and one bullet case was found by police officers in his room.
Investigators say Mr Krusorn's testicles were punctured by the bullet.
It has been suggested that the man could have fired his weapon while removing it from the holster on his belt.
There's information that earlier in the night he was hosting a gambling event at a local temple.
